Happiness

Sometimes so hard to find, but at the same time so innate in my being. I find it often in the simple things. In the small, precious moments where I was not expecting it. Note I am not avoiding describing when these moments arise. They are just not that readily accounted for. They are just more like butterflies in your stomach, electric lights, fireflies, the smell of roses; they are the little things that make you warm inside. They are the small entities that bring a smile to my lips and threatening my heart to burst with all the love it carries within.
Happiness.

The Blue Man and the Door

Easy enough to notice, but remarkable when you choose to really see. Not just let your eyes swipe the parameter, like the men, out on the oceans. Whale watchers they call them. I believe it a wonderous world, the world of men, watching whales.
Not so much the ocean I saw today, but he was blue, like a whale. Taken into account the supposition that this occurs while the rays of the sun grace the water at the right angle. Pure blue. Just like a whale. When the rays touch upon the ocean and create perfection in a flawed world. Today he was a drop of perfection in my flawed world. The blue man and his door.

The Lady in the Square...

So I travelled. I travelled across the oceans and land drawn boarders. I travelled to a country of mysterious meanings and customs. Small fairytales greeting me on every corner. Strange smells which drifted through my body, awakening my senses, like as if they were newly born or born again, like a renaissance. Walking the streets of a city unknown, but in the same breath leaving me feeling oddly at home. Among the old, majestic buildings, roasted corn, tea and pretzles I was welcomed by someone that left me smiling for a forth night. She was the Lady in the Square.
